Mechanics' Lien Service specializes in the service of Preliminary Lien Notices, the service of stop notices and the recording and removal of Mechanics' Liens for both public and private works of improvement, but at a price far less than an attorney will charge. All services we perform can be used by your attorney in litigation, if you are not paid in full for your services and/or materials.

Mechanic's Lien Service offers a complete service to contractors, laborers and material suppliers to establish and preserve their lien rights under California Law. This service does not include the practice of Law and no litigation will be commenced in your behalf. Services are limited to the service of notices and recording of documents based on information supplied by you.

We don't make or interpret the law, we just follow it!

Preliminary Lien Notice
Fee $85.00-to be submitted 
with completed SERVICE REQUEST FORM.

Service includes form preparation, data entry, file setup, county records check, certified mailing of notices, filing with the county recorder and report to claimant.

Record Mechanics' Lien or 
Mechanics' Lien Release
Fee $65.00-to be submitted 
with completed SERVICE REQUEST FORM.

Service includes form preparation, county records check, certified mailing of notices, recording and payment of fees with the county recorder and report to claimant.

Serve Stop Notice or
Stop Notice Withdrawal
Fee $35.00-to be submitted 
with completed SERVICE REQUEST FORM.

Service includes form preparation, certified mailing of notices, and report to claimant.

Labor and material Releases
Fee $25.00-for the first release 
and $10.00 per release thereafter.

Service includes form preparation, mailing of notices, and report to claimant.

Stop Work Order
Fee by agreement-

Service includes procedures set forth in Civil Code, Section 3260.2.

Fees for services generally include data entry, records check, preparation of forms, recording fees,
regular and certified postage, report to
claimant and all other expenses incurred,
BUT DO NOT INCLUDE BONDS, on bonded Stop Notices.
Fees are based on the assumption that Mechanics' Lien Service
has filed your Preliminary lien notice and therefore has set up a data base for
your subesquent requests.
